A Spanish banker who died in the London Bridge attack died fighting with a terrorist to protect an injured woman.
The family of Ignacio Echeverria have confirmed he was killed in the atrocity after trying to fend off a terrorist with his skateboard and to protect a wounded woman.

Relatives were told of the 39-year-old’s death by Spanish ambassador Carlos Bastarreche, after the family flew in to London on Tuesday according to Spanish media.
Mr Echeverria was reported missing following the van attack in the capital. He was last seen in the area of Borough Market defending a woman by using his skateboard as a weapon.
His father, Joaquin Echeverria, said British authorities had not shared any information with them.
