A baby monkey stolen, along with two others, from Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh has been found by police in a car.
Authorities were called to the wildlife park on Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Helensburgh, about 8am yesterday morning after staff discovered the monkeys were missing.
Three Pygmy Marmoset monkeys including an adult male, a female juvenile and a four-week-old baby were taken from their enclosure.
An anonymous call to Crime Stoppers led police to stop a vehicle in Appin, south of Campbelltown, about 3pm.

Police spoke to two men inside the car, before a search led to the discovery of the baby monkey alive in the car.
The men have been arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
The baby monkey is on its way back to the wildlife park for further examination and care.
